Update 0.11 ยท Release notes
The 3D Garage Update
A new 3D factory, in-house component manufacturing, easier car production, and smoother day-to-day management.

Your factory has a new look, and there is more happening inside it.
Update 0.11 brings Car Factory Tycoon into 3D. You can rotate around your garage, see the parts on your shelves, watch workers assemble your designs, and follow finished cars out to the sales lot.
This update also adds the first steps toward making components yourself, simplifies getting a car into production, and improves performance throughout the factory.
A factory you can follow
The garage, workers, equipment, deliveries, and sales area now share the new 3D view. Shelves display the parts they actually hold, tools have their own storage, and cars visibly take shape on the stands. Workers drive completed cars into parking. Walk-in customers choose a car, speak with a worker, then get in and drive away.
A redesigned interface keeps the main controls together and puts details where you need them. Click a car, worker, shelf, stand, or delivery truck to inspect it. Hover outlines show what you are about to select.
Start making your own components
Research panel forming to turn sheet metal into body panels, or wheel assembly to combine rims and tires into finished wheels. These components go into the cars you build.
You can continue buying finished components, manufacture them yourself, or use purchased backup stock. Set output targets, order inputs in batches, and choose which parts belong on each shelf. Workers handle the physical movement and machine operation, so layout and available staff matter.
Less clicking between you and the next car
Choose a design at a stand and review its required parts, reusable equipment, and cost together. Approve the build to order missing supplies and get work started. Research Batch Production when you are ready to queue more cars.
The five campaigns now use the new factory systems. New Game opens free play, and scenario objectives can stay open while you work.
